Frequently Asked Questions
What is the AIV (AI Visibility Index) score?
The AIV score is a 0–100 composite measuring how visible your business is across AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Doubao, DeepSeek, Qwen, Google AI). It combines 7 metrics: Recall, Breadth, Depth, Keyword Reach, Convergence, Factuality, and Rank. A score of 50+ means you are showing up; below 30 means you are effectively invisible to AI search.
How is AI visibility different from SEO?
SEO optimizes for Google blue-link rankings. AI visibility (GEO) measures whether AI engines recommend you when a customer asks "who is the best?" They use completely different signals: AI engines weight structured data, entity consistency, and conversational relevance far more than traditional backlinks.
Which AI engines do you check?
Eight engines: ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Doubao, DeepSeek, and Qwen. Together they cover over 95% of AI search traffic in Hong Kong.
How often should I scan?
We recommend scanning at least monthly. AI engines re-index content on different schedules — retrieval-based engines pick up changes in days, while model-trained engines take 4–9 months to absorb changes into permanent memory.
What is a good AIV score?
For most Hong Kong SMBs, 50+ means you are being recommended; 60+ means you are consistently mentioned across multiple engines. New businesses typically start at 5–15 and climb as they add structured data and directory listings.
How is Visora different from a marketing agency?
Agencies charge monthly retainers (typically HK$12,000+ in Hong Kong) with lock-in contracts and execute the work for you. Visora is a self-serve platform: you get the measurement (live 6-engine scans), the tooling (schema injection, GBP sync, keyword research), and the automation directly — starting free, with no lock-in.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No legitimate provider can guarantee a specific AI engine's output — models change constantly. What we guarantee is the process: measurable improvement in your AIV score, tracked with monthly re-scans across the same 8 engines.
Where can I see real client results?
On the Client Results page (/portfolio) — dated before-and-after screenshots of how ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Google AI, and Doubao describe real businesses, from the first baseline capture to the latest milestone.
How long until I see SEO results?
Technical fixes show results in 2–4 weeks as Google re-crawls. Content and authority building takes 3–6 months. AI visibility can improve faster — retrieval-based engines often pick up schema changes within 1–2 weeks.
Do I need a website first?
For the full AIV audit, yes — AI engines need a website to crawl. If you do not have one, we can refer you to a partner website builder. The AI Mention Checker works without a website.
What is included in the technical audit?
Our audit checks schema.org structured data, llms.txt, robots.txt AI-bot access, meta tags, HK directory presence (OpenRice, Google Maps, Klook), and your visibility across 8 AI engines, with prioritized fixes.
Do you guarantee rankings?
We do not guarantee specific Google rankings — no legitimate provider can. We guarantee measurable improvement in your AIV score during the performance phase, backed by data. If we do not hit agreed KPIs, you do not pay.
How much does it cost?
The free AIV scan is completely free. Autopilot starts at HK$288/month. A one-time Lifetime plan is HK$999. Done-for-you SEO services are quoted after a free consultation.
What is the difference between Lifetime and Autopilot?
Lifetime (HK$999 one-time) gives you the full toolkit forever, self-serve. Autopilot (HK$288/month) adds automation: weekly scans, auto-reply to reviews, AVI drop alerts, and weekly secretary emails.
Is there a free trial?
The free AIV scan IS the trial — full 6-engine audit, no sign-up. Autopilot has no time-limited trial; the first month is the trial — cancel anytime.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, anytime. Upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing. No lock-in contracts.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore), encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your data with third parties. You can delete your data anytime.
Do you need access to my website?
For the free scan, no — we crawl your public site. For done-for-you services, we may need edit access or can work through your developer or a WordPress plugin. Full admin access is never required.
What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is a proposed standard (like robots.txt for AI crawlers) that tells AI engines what your site is about. It is hosted at yourdomain.com/llms.txt and is one of the highest-impact AI visibility fixes.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export scan reports as PDF and brand data via the Data Pack page. For a full JSON export, contact us — provided within 7 days per Hong Kong PDPO.
Does Visora support Traditional Chinese?
Yes — fully bilingual. The platform works in English and Traditional Chinese (zh-HK), with a tone switcher between formal written Chinese and conversational Cantonese. Scans, reports, and generated content all support both languages.
